Abstract

The use of Raman spectrometry, limited previously to Research applications, has become possible in the Analytical and Industrial fields since the introduction of some new features in spectrometers like Confocal Raman microscopy, CCD multichannel detectors, Notch filters, from UV to NIR laser excitations, holographic blazed or aberration corrected gratings and have permitted to apply the unique advantages of this technique to very general applications.
