Abstract

Nonlinear dynamics is one of the more interesting topics in physics today. Until recently, nonlinear problems presented insurmountable obstacles to physicists. Now, they are revealing fascinating patterns and are being pursued with enthusiasm by scientists in many subfields. Because of the new insights this work is providing to the understanding of nonlinear systems in general, it seems imperative to apply techniques developed for general nonlinear systems to molecular systems.
