Manpower policies for the use of science and technology in development
Abstract
My title this morning is taken from the book recently published (1980) by Dr. Charles Kidd, an international consultant on questions of development. He points out that the development of manpower for the use of science and technology in national growth must begin with answering the question — "What is this 'use' of science and technology that we want for national progress and growth? How does science and technology fit in to the total picture of national development?"
