Keynote Address

Abstract

You are all probably wondering right now what a lawyer, who became a university president less than a year ago, could say about physics. Less than a year ago, I myself never thought that I would ever have to concern myself with science and technology. But since I became UP President, I have been forced to grapple with issues pertaining to science and technology and their interrelation with academe and society in general. And in the process I have learned much that connect my own profession of law with your profession of physics.
