Fast reconstruction algorithm for slowly-varying waves using SBMIR with transit plane
Abstract
Single-beam multiple-intensity reconstruction (SBMIR) is a phase retrieval method that relies on the variation of multiple object intensity measurements as constraints in an iterative algorithm. Smooth test wavefronts do not scatter light significantly to exhibit sufficient intensity variation, resulting in the slow convergence or stagnation of the SBMIR algorithm. In this paper, the introduction of a transit plane in the iterations is shown through simulations and experiments to enhance phase retrieval in terms of the algorithm's convergence rate.
