Abstract

A nonlinear Raman microscopy system using fast tunable picosecond laser has been developed. The tunable range of laser is 120 nm, which corresponds to 1800 cm-1 in Raman shift. Raman imaging faster than video- rated and fast Raman spectral imaging is demonstrated. The multi-modal imaging system of second harmonic generation and nonlinear Raman scattering also has been developed. Abnormal accumulated collagen and fibrous cap of atherosclerotic lesion is demonstrated.
