Abstract

A microcontroller-based flow meter with a high sampling frequency has been calibrated with a commercially-available flow meter to evaluate a constructed small-scale wind tunnel in terms of tunnel flow quality and consistency as a low-cost alternative to determine Reynolds number. Calibration with a commercially-available flow meter suggests the feasibility of the fabricated device to predict flow rate inside the wind tunnel.
