Abstract

Significant correlations are found between traffic data taken from stations along the C-5 road, according to a nondirectional t-test of the Pearson’s correlation coefficient and the mutual information scores resulting from traffic data collected from February 15, 2015 to March 6, 2015. Furthermore, these correlations were revealed to be more linear in nature through comparison between the two measures of statistical relation. An exception to this would be the northbound traffic at Tandang Sora, which maintained no correlation to the rest of the traffic data along the C-5.
