Abstract

Measurement of the occupational power density levels from a 900-MHz macro cell antenna tower vicinity in Rodriguez, Rizal was conducted using a Narda Selective Radiation Meter-SRM-3000TM. It was observed that power density levels are low on the antenna center and increase rapidly towards the direction of antenna propagation. Measured values were compared with threshold levels set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation standards. With the highest reading at 8.2% of the limit, it was confirmed that the site is compliant to occupational exposure safety standards.
