Abstract

A technique to recover the complex field of a test object located around a corner or behind a diffuser is demonstrated numerically and experimentally. The technique uses several intensity recordings corresponding to the object located at different axial planes and imaged from a rough wall or through a diffuser and then processed using an iterative reconstruction algorithm. The effectiveness of our technique is demonstrated in the numerical focusing of the wavefront from obscured objects.
