Biophotonic applications for measuring and controlling intra-cellular reactions
Abstract
Since the invention of the laser, researchers have used more and more intricate techniques to utilize light to study biological reactions. This presentation will discuss Raman scattering measurements of live cell samples as well as how Raman can be combined with other modes to produce a more practical imaging setup that provides additional information. It will also briefly show the use of light to interact with and control some of the intracellular dynamics.
